Former Curator, Kala Bhavana Museum, Visva Bharati, and eminent art historian. He has written extensively about Indian art—especially works by Rabindranath Tagore—since 1983. On Tagore’s 150th birthday, Adhikary was invited by Indian Council for Cultural Relations, Delhi and the Indian Embassies in Hungary and Sri Lanka to speak in Budapest and Colombo about the Tagore’s work.
